Six Sites is a public product development site. The goal is to create six web and mobile products iteratively and transparently, allowing readers to share, learn and collaborate with the product development process.

The site serves two functions, both as public blog and as a private collaboration tool. Meaning that while some content is made public, other content is published only to project collaborators. This is done to protect ideas in the early stages of development, potential intellectual property, but also to allow us to share certain content after an idea is made public.

So it’s really designed to be part blog part Basecamp.
